Privacy policy

This page explains how the HEIC converter handles your images and what data is collected when you use the site. Last updated: 6 July 2026.

What happens to my files?

Your images are processed directly in your browser. They are not sent to a server or stored by this site. Once you close or reload the page, the converted files exist only where you saved them on your own device.

Do you collect personal data?

The converter itself does not require an account and does not collect personal information as part of the conversion flow. We do not see, store, or have access to your photos or their contents.

Advertising and cookies

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense to keep the tool free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, which may include personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data from sites like this one at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Third-party vendors may also serve ads via their own cookies; you can opt out of some third-party cookie use at aboutads.info.

Consent for visitors in the EEA and UK

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you will be shown a consent message before any personalised advertising cookies are set, in line with GDPR requirements. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via that message.

Can I use this tool offline?

If the page has already loaded and the required scripts are cached, the converter can still work while offline. A network connection is still needed for the initial page load.
